I know only like, 2 people read this but I'll post it anyway.
My printer just died. I have a big ole electric bill to pay. I have about $100 right now to tide me over for the rest of the month. I have no job, and can't really get one because of my wacky class schedule + shit economy + homework.
BUT. I can make stuff. My specialty is bags, especially backpacks, but I can probably make just about any sort of accessory (I won't attempt selling clothes for a while.. haha). A messenger bag or purse would also be easy to make.
If you are interested, here's what you do: comment or note me. Give me a general idea of what you want. If I don't have a fabric that suits what you are looking to get, I will find some and send you pictures for your approval.
I can customize any design to suit your wants/needs. Any special design stuff, certain types of pockets or features (IE: *
gazzi-the-great wanted "tampon pockets" in her backpack), I can accommodate.
I can also screenprint designs/accents if you want.
After we hammer out the details, I will give you a quote. If you want to modify it to change the price, I can work with you.
I sew a lot. I can figure out how to do just about anything you want accessory-wise.
Prices depend on the nature/complexity of the commission. My backpacks have been going for 50-60. I made a small purse that I priced at 30. I could probably go as low as 15-20 for a small project.
Please.

Check my gallery for some examples of my cute backpacks!

You made my friend Heather a bag, she told me and here I am, in desperate need of a purse....
Price?
for lets say 11 x 11 with one shoulder strap
simple, flexible, yet strong material. I would love you if you found a print of a bunny and a rooster together. Anyway this is too much detail on first contact. Consider me and let me know. Thank you.
A simple one-strap bag of that size, I'd estimate that the total price of labor would be about $25. It can be lower or higher depending on the details of the project, including cost of materials. Most of the fabric and materials I use aren't terribly pricey (hooray for discount sewing outlets), so the total estimate I'd say would be about $10-15 more bringing it to $35-40 total.
Additionally, if you would indeed really like the rooster/bunny thing and I can't find a fabric, I would have to do a print myself. I already have the materials and they are reusable, so I'd most likely only tack on $5 or so for that.
If you are still interested, hit me up and we can further discuss the design. Thanks

So a baby seal walks into a club...
price sounds fine.
Yeah material like canvas or cotton is perfect, I like my purses flexible, would a zipper be too much to do?
Don't want people looking inside!
I'm a pretty low key person, so I was thinking an all black purse with the bunny and rooster either patched or printed on the bottom front. By patched, I mean sort of this stitched to the bag with diff contrast color thread, no like those iron on patches you used to get at hippie gatherings of pot leaves and other teenage angst icons.
Hmm. maybe even using contrast thread in the whole purse.
Like black purse, colored bunny and rooster, and yellow, orange, green thread.
WOW, this messege is getting long.
anyway let me what you find, they can look realistic, or cartoony, any style really, they dont even have to match each other, I like being odd.
Thank you
Julia

Not wanting a boyfriend doesn't make me gay, it makes me smart.
